If the family of a current WCPSS student decides to participate in the choice process to try and get another school, will they lose the seat they already have?
Students currently enrolled or pre-enrolled in a WCPSS school and SELECTED for a school they ranked on their choice list will be released from their current assignment and assigned to the new school. There is no option to decline a seat awarded via the choice selection process. Updated 1/13/12.
