Welcome to the Choice Selection Process
To participate in the Choice Selection process your student must be pre-enrolled (learn how) or currently attending a Wake County Public School.
Please note: neighborhood transportation will be provided for all schools on your choice list for the 2012-13 school year.
Getting Started
If you created an account during the Magnet Selection period, you will use that for Choice Selection as well. Please click on the Returning Users button to get started.
Otherwise, you must first create a user account. For that, you need the following information:
- NC WISE number: You may obtain your student’s NC WISE ID number from their lunch number or report card, OR you may contact your student's enrollment school or the Office of Student Assignment at 919-431-7333 for assistance.
- Student’s date of birth.
- House number: for example, if your address is 123 Main Street, your house number would be 123 (you will not need the apartment number).
- Student’s grade for the 2012-13 school year.
Once you have an account, you may add additional students to it and then make selections for them as well. Click the New Users button at right to create your account.
